It that time again to update everyone on what I've been up to. Unlike the previous two years in which I had so many issues happening around me that it hindered my creative processes to an almost grinding halt, I haven't had anything like that affecting me this time. I've been mostly working a good amount this year which is a good chunk of why I haven't been as active these few months. I think we can all agree that working in general is just as important as getting pieces done. For some bright spots this year, I spent the summer watching all of Avatar: The Last Airbender and I realized what a amazing show it truly is.
Before the year is out, I plan to make at least two or three pieces in which some of them will be Christmas gifts. For that I would like to ask if everyone would prefer seeing a large collective piece or a few individual pieces?
I want to thank everyone that has stuck around with me an I hope you'll look forward to what I release in the future.
Until Next time, Quicksilver out.
I would like to once again thank everyone that has stuck with me during these many years!
Also, I have been considering doing a few thing coming up soon. During the month of May, I plan on releasing some personal pieces as well as a few piece that have a different emotional tone from my previous pieces. Also, I've been tossing around the idea of maybe selling pieces at an artist alley at some local conventions near me. I've also was considering maybe doing commissions as well, but I don't know if my work would be "commissionable material".
What do you guys think? Should I go through with some of these ideas?
Thank you all again. Until next time, Quicksilver out.
I feel like barely anything note worthy happened and what ever did happen wasn't anything good. You can check out my previous journal for the specifics.
For 2016 I have a small favor to ask all of you. If I should ever reach a low point again, please try and get me out of it. I've been at a low point for two years running, and frankly, I'm sick of it.
So hopefully I can at least get two or three pieces out next year. So I hope I'll see all of you in 2016.
Until next time, Quicksilver out.
I suppose I should talk about what has been going on with me lately. Well, all throughout the year, people I know have been going through big, life changing events and it made me look at my current life. What I found was that my life was not up to the standard that I wanted to be and I entered a "sitting around and feeling sorry for myself" phase. I don't expect a lot of you to understand this since this is somewhat of an adult problem and it's difficult to talk about. I also went through another big thing this year, but I don't feel like openly talking about it. Some of those reasons are why I stopped working on the Sailor Guardian Challenge and also other art pieces. But I realize that those shouldn't be excuses for lack of content.
A few good things are I went to a few local conventions and my times at them varied. I also started a freelance AV setup work back in September, though they haven't called me back for more work in a while. A few plans for the immediate future are I might start working on some Christmas gifts for people on here and I might finish a few more things before the year is out. And a little side note here before I finish is that a while ago, some of you expressed interest in seeing work that I have done on my personal site. If any of you would like to see them at all, just comment that you would like to see it and I'll send you the link. Just be warned that you'll see what I really look like.
One more thing before I finish. I started writing a crossover fan fiction of Pokemon and Kill La Kill, and I was wondering if any of you would be interested in reading it?
Thanks for reading. Until next time, Quicksilver out.
I have to say thank you to everyone who stuck around with me given my very slow upload rate.
For my watchers that are still around I plan on trying to resume some of the things that I have been working on. Also, I might share some things with you if any one of you is interested.
Once again, Thank you everyone so much!!!
Comment below and I'll pick a character of yours that's I like the most and I'll write what I like about them! (keep in mind that if I can't figure out where you keep them, I'll look for the most recent one you have)
Link on your own journal in your comment is required!
1. What I like about Punisher2006's Kake Dachi is the fact that even though she is very young she can be very mature when it comes to serious matters. Especially matters of the heart.
2.<da:thumb id="520872651"/> What I like about ColdBlackDragon's Kumo is her overall design. It's really cool for this character to have both Human and Spider features.
3. What I like about YurixTheWanderer's Karyana is that she's from what I understand a swordswoman who can use magic (I believe they're called "Spell Fencers") Which is a decent class to be apart of. Her design is also not bad either.
4. What I like about NikeMV's Ginevra is she is very complex in her overall nature from being secluded to suddenly having her world expanded.
5. What I like about FANSILVER's Talia is her build and the fact that her eyes have two separate colors since I have a fondness to characters that have that trait.
6. What I like about CTenaid's Priestess of Africa her overall look.
Just comment down below and I'll...
8) Tell you what I'd do if we were in the same room right now.
Just a heads up, I might be taking a small break from the challenge to put up an OC couple pic. After that is done I will resume with the remaining Inner Guardians if I haven't gotten around to drawing them. I should also state that I won't be drawing any of the villains or Guardians that I haven't scene like the Starlites, etc.
Thank you everyone for understanding. Until next time, Quicksilver out.
I'm going to be honest, 2014 has just been an awful year for me. So many bad things have happened to me in the past year. A few good thing have also happened to me this year too. I made a journal a while back explaining a few of them.
Onward to 2015. I plan on doing a few drawing themes within the next month or two, so keep a lookout for those. I would also like to say that I made a few gifts for people for the holidays so be ready to see those within the next week or so.
See you all in 2015!!!
Until next time, Quicksilver out.
Friday October 17th
I arrived at the con hotel with PrettySoldierPetite in the early afternoon. Unfortunately, we couldn't check in until close to 3pm, so we dropped of our luggage at the Bell Captain and then we got our badges before we wandered around for a while. Afterwards, I believe that we took the shuttle over to the Mall of America, though I think we might have went later in the day... but anyway, when we got there I said "They have no idea what's coming." We then ate lunch be fore heading back to the hotel. After we got back, I ended up catching the tail end of the "Not That Ryan Reynolds" panel which was a panel hosted by the voice actress Ryan Reynolds, NOT the Movie Star. I expressed that the only show I've ever heard her in was Level E. Afterwards I met up with Sailor again and we ended up in a prop making panel for a while before I decided to leave and sit in the "Meet Lord Zedd" panel which featured Robert Axelrod who was Lord Zedd form Power Rangers and Armadillomon and Wizardmon from Digimon which I asked a few questions about Digimon in that panel. After that panel let out, we were finally able to check in to our rooms. I turned out that my room was across from where osme of the peole of NyahPro were staying. After I got checked into my room, I changed into my Mori from Ouran Host Club cosplay and Wondered around for a while before going to the Opening Ceremonies. After the Opening Ceremonies ended, we wandered around for a while before we ended up in "How D I...? Cosplay" panel, though I heard some noise coming from the panel in the next room and I went to check it out. It turns out it was a Tekken panel where con goers could play a round of Tekken against Lisle Wilkerson who was one of the guests. I didn't get to play that time but it was amusing to watch. After that panel ended, I met up with Sailor again and we went and got something to eat before going to another panel later that night. The last panel we went to was called "The Ladies of Voice" and it was hosted by Tia Ballard, Lisle Wilkerson, and Ryan Reynolds. In that panel, they talked about the many roles that they have done over the years and Lisle Wilkerson talked about how some of the movie "Lost in Translation" which she was in was based off of events that actually happened. During that panel, I stated that if Funimation had picked up the rights to Sailor Moon, I thought that Tia Ballard would be Sailor Mercury. After the panel ended I wandered around and checked out some of the room parties before turning in for the night.
Saturday, October 18th
On Saturday, I debuted my Tuxedo Mask cosplay and Met up with Sailor who was Princess Chibi Moon. Since it was early, we sat around in the lobby until the events started, but I had to run back to my room to charge my 3DS since I didn't charge it the night before. We then sat and watched some AMVs before a Princess Serenity Cosplayer noticed us and wanted a few pictures. It turns out she wanted to hang out with us for most of the day. We wandered around for a while until we went to help set up a panel room since a friend of the Serenity Cosplayer was running the panel. The panel was a Fairy Tail panel and one funny moment was when a young Silica Cosplayer from Sword Art Online was slowly chasing a Gray Cosplayer with a prop dagger. We had to leave the panel early in order to make the Sailor Moon Photoshoot, though it didn't go as long as the schedule said it would. The Serenity Cosplayer invited us to hang out at her groups room for a while. Afterwards, I went to have my Rideback Blu-Ray cover signed by Tia Ballard and then I reunited with Sailor and the Serenity Cosplayer in the con suite. We then went to Day 2 of the Tekken panel where I got to go up against Lisle Wilkerson and won. We then went to the Sailor Moon panel and the panel after that was an animation audition panel and the theme was Sonic the Hedgehog. Sailor got to audition as Sonic and I got to do Knuckles even though I wanted Shadow...moving on, when I went up to the podium, Tia Ballard was doing a type of "singing about what they're seeing bit". After the panel ended, I said my farewells to the Serenity Cosplayer Tuxedo Mask style and I put on normal clothes so Sailor and I could go over to the mall and get something to eat. After we got back, I wandered around for a while before I went to sit outside by the hotel's fire pit since it was a nice night to do so. I didn't stay very long since everyone started smoking and acting crazy. I returned to my room before I went to sleep.
Sunday, October 19th
On Sunday, I wore my Survey Corp jacket with my Cowboy Bebop shirt I then packed up my item before meeting up with Sailor again. Sailor had received a text from the Serenity Cosplay saying that she wanted to hang out with us again. We went to her groups room and that day she was cosplaying as one of the Night Class from Vampire Knight. We first watched some AMVs that were Disney related one of them I sang the Team 4 Star version of "Make a Man Out of You". Afterwards we checked out of our rooms and put out luggage with the bell captain before we wandered around the dealers room before taking the shuttle over to the mall were we spent most of the time. Oddly enough, I seemed to get a lot of attention from my Survey Corp jacket which was proof the Attack on Titan was now mainstream. we ended up waiting a long time since another shuttle didn't show up for almost an hour. When we got back to the hotel, we sat in a "Fandom Singalong" panel which at the end I suggested that they play the theme from Kids on the Slope the next time they did the panel. Afterwards, we went to the Closing Ceremonies, before saying good bye to some of the guests that were still around. I then helped the Serenity Cosplayer with here bag before say good bye to her and shortly after that Sailor and I left and headed for home.
And those are the events of Anime Fusion 2014 that I experienced. I might go again the next time they hold it. Next time I will tell you about the events of Meta Con 2014.
Until next time, Quicksilver out.
I apologize if I haven't been active lately. This past year has been very stressful. I've been dealing with many things in my personal life including the loss of my pet back in May.
On the lighter side of things, I went to four conventions over the past few months. If everyone would like to hear about those, feel free to let me know. I also have another job in my field of study which I started back in September.
So that is what has been going on in my life. I would like to thank everyone who continues to watch me even though my activity has been very minimal here.
Until next time, Quicksilver out.
This was the first piece that I submitted to this site. This was back when I was first experimenting with a drawing style.
This was when I started to use the "no outlines" style which lasted for a long time. This was also when I started to use the current "eye" style.
These pieces are what I consider to be my best works over the years.
These pieces were made when I started using a drawing tablet for my work. They were simple and over time I started to get better at using a tablet over a mouse.
This piece was made using my current style.
Now we come to my most recent works. As you can see, my work has changed over time. Even though I still continue to experiment with different styles, my work seems to improve with the test of time.
My point is that without Deviantart, I might have never met so many great people. And without all of the many friends and watchers I have on here, odds are none of this would probably have happened.
Thank you everyone. Especially you Deviantart, and Happy 14th Birthday.

I think it's time I told you where I have been for the past few months. Well, In October I was informed that the last two classes I need to graduate a third time would not be available until fall of 2014. So I decided to return in the fall of next year when they are available. Other than that I have been busy working on a lot of things and that had left me kind of uninspired for a long time.
Also, I went to a convention called Meta Con back in August and for those of you how are wondering how it went, it was okay. Long story short, I met a lot of people and had a decent time.
And that is what I had been doing over the last few months.
Til next time, Quicksilver out.
